As the US President’s motorcade entered the palace grounds, he was received with a ceremonial honour guard on horseback, a camel procession, and performances by Emirati folk groups celebrating the occasion.

Community participation highlights national development

A community group, including space camp students, astronauts, and space mission engineers, participated in the event. Their presence underscored the UAE’s commitment to engaging diverse segments of society in its development journey.

Ceremony and national salute

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed escorted President Trump to the dais of honour, where the national anthems of both countries were played. A formal honour guard, a 21-gun salute, and children waving UAE and US flags marked the ceremonial welcome.

Tour of Space Exploration Exhibition

President Trump toured the "Guided by the Stars" exhibition, which showcases the UAE’s journey in space exploration and the early vision of the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

In honour of the US President’s visit, US flags and welcome banners lined major roads and landmarks across Abu Dhabi, especially along the route from the Presidential Airport to Qasr Al Watan.
