Collaboration with the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility
In cooperation with the Coastal Municipalities Water Utility (CMWU), the project seeks to enhance the capacity of local municipalities to deliver water to Palestinian citizens. The initiative ensures the continuity of essential services such as water supply amidst the ongoing crisis.
Aiming to provide water to 700,000 people
The current phase of the project includes the repair of approximately 28 non-operational wells across various Gaza governorates. The goal is to provide water access to around 700,000 people, significantly improving their living conditions during this difficult period.
Support from UAE humanitarian organisations
Sharif Al-Nayrab, Media Director of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 in Gaza, praised the efforts of UAE humanitarian organizations and charitable associations, including Sharjah Charity International, the Saqr Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Foundation, and Dar Al Ber Society. Their continued support has been crucial in addressing the dire needs in Gaza.
Previous water-related projects

The previous phases included distributing water tankers to thousands of citizens, drilling primitive wells along the southern coasts, and drilling submersible wells to improve water access for residents.
Impact of the initiative
Omar Shatat, Deputy Director General for Technical Affairs at CMWU, emphasized that this humanitarian initiative has been a lifeline for Gaza’s population, with the fourth phase being one of the most impactful to date. The project continues to support all Gaza governorates, working to alleviate the hardships faced by residents and improve their access to vital services.
