A unique approach to historical documentation
In this rare annual release, His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah adopted a distinctive research approach. He gathered an extensive collection of Portuguese, Dutch, and British manuscripts, which he meticulously sorted, classified, and translated. The result is a highly reliable source that serves as a vital reference for researchers studying the region’s history and its political, economic, and social context during that period.
