Sheikha Fatima arrives in Istanbul for official visit to Türkiye

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Nation,” arrived in Istanbul for a three-day official visit to the Republic of Türkiye. She was warmly received by Emine Erdoğan, wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.

Emine Erdoğan praised her Highness Sheikha Fatima as a global role model in women’s leadership, social work, and humanitarian efforts. She highlighted the visit as a vital opportunity to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in areas such as women’s empowerment, child and family support, and social development.

Sheikha Fatima expressed her pleasure at visiting Türkiye and emphasised the strength of UAE-Türkiye relations. She affirmed the UAE’s commitment to expanding strategic cooperation, particularly in the social, cultural, and scientific fields, and expressed hope for sharing successful experiences to promote sustainable development.
