Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister, and Chairman of the Presidential Court, chaired a Ministerial Development Council meeting at Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi. The session focused on evaluating development proposals and projects submitted by ministries and federal entities, aimed at enhancing various sectors of government work.

Sectoral strategies and performance evaluation

The Council reviewed a range of strategic plans and policies across sectors such as education, family empowerment, biodiversity, the judiciary, financial markets, and entrepreneurship. It also assessed performance metrics of federal ministries and entities, particularly related to government service standards and digital transformation efforts.

Legislative and regulatory updates

Among the key topics discussed were drafts of legislation and executive regulations covering public benefit institutions, the energy sector, and the formation of specialized federal committees. Proposals to enhance human resource efficiency within the Federal Government were also examined.

Focus on social and infrastructure development

Updated healthcare and social development regulations were reviewed alongside Federal National Council requests, which mainly pertain to the country’s infrastructure. The Council reaffirmed its commitment to advancing national priorities through strategic governance and coordinated development.
