Sharjah 24: The UAE Football Association has announced that the President's Cup final will make use of new refereeing technologies to enhance the game. This exciting match will take place between Sharjah and Shabab Al Ahli at Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium on May 9.

One of the key features will be the use of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) system, which helps officials make better decisions on close calls, especially regarding offside situations. This technology will include virtual lines on the screen to assist referees.

Additionally, the match will have special cameras installed to ensure that the ball crossing the goal line is accurately captured. Two of these goal-line cameras will be placed on either side of the field near the goal.

The referee will also have a personal camera to record important moments during the match. When any decision is reviewed with the help of VAR, the referee will announce the final call publicly, both in the stadium and on television, keeping fans informed about the decisions made during the game.
