Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the UAE, met with KP Sharma Oli, Prime Minister of Nepal, during his working visit to Kathmandu.

Focus on strengthening bilateral relations

During the meeting, the two leaders discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations across various sectors, including economic, trade, and sustainable development cooperation between the two countries.

UAE’s commitment to strengthening ties with Nepal

Sheikh Abdullah emphasized the UAE’s desire to enhance its relations with Nepal and invest in opportunities that will develop bilateral cooperation for the mutual benefit of both nations.

The meeting was attended by senior UAE officials, including Ahmed bin Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; Saeed Mubarak Al Hajeri, Assistant Minister for Economic and Trade Affairs; Abdulla Balalaa, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Energy and Sustainability Affairs; and Abdullah bin Jarwan AlShamsi, UAE Ambassador to Nepal.
