Sharjah 24: Alia Al Mulla, Curator at Sharjah Art Museum (SAM), emphasised that the museum’s 28th anniversary is not only a celebration of its history but also a tribute to community and creativity. To mark the occasion, the museum has launched “Between Arts”—a weekend family event filled with engaging cultural activities and artistic exploration.

Activities for all ages
Designed to appeal to visitors of all ages, especially children, the event features hands-on workshops, food trucks, and a variety of artisanal gift items. “This is a chance for families to come together, enjoy art in a fun and inclusive environment, and celebrate the spirit of Sharjah’s artistic community,” Al Mulla told “Sharjah 24.”

Spotlight on emerging Emirati artists
One of the event’s highlights is a panel titled “Emerging Fine Arts in the UAE”, spotlighting two rising Emirati artists. The discussion delves into the growth of the local art scene and the innovative voices shaping its future.

Bilingual dialogue for broader engagement
To ensure broader accessibility and engagement, the panel will continue in Arabic on Saturday and Sunday, fostering deeper cultural dialogue within the community.

An invitation to experience art
“We’re looking forward to welcoming families and art lovers from across the UAE,” Al Mulla added. “It’s an opportunity to inspire creativity, promote learning, and create lasting memories through art.”

Sharjah Art Museum: A cultural cornerstone
With this celebration, the Sharjah Art Museum reaffirms its role as a key cultural hub, offering not only exhibitions but immersive experiences that nurture artistic expression and connect people through the power of creativity.
