The Habshan 5 facility, part of the Habshan Industrial Complex, is crucial in ADNOC Gas’s integrated lower-carbon gas value chain. It processes over 10 billion standard cubic feet of natural gas daily, meeting 60% of the UAE’s gas needs. The complex also solidifies ADNOC's position as the world's largest sulfur supplier and second-largest exporter of naphtha and LPG.
Habshan 5 leverages AI technologies, including Neuron 5 and Real-Time Optimizer, to optimize performance and reduce emissions. The facility also highlights ADNOC’s investment in Emirati talent, with over 950 UAE Nationals contributing to the complex. ADNOC Gas is advancing growth projects to expand gas processing capacity and support the UAE’s goal of gas self-sufficiency.
