UAE and South Sudan discuss advancing bilateral cooperation

Sharjah 24 – WAM: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and President Faustin-Archange Touadéra of the Central African Republic held a phone call to discuss strengthening cooperation between the two countries. The focus was on key areas such as the economy, trade, investment, renewable energy, and infrastructure.

Advancing the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement

The two leaders discussed how best to advance the objectives of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement signed earlier this month between the UAE and the Central African Republic. His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed and the Central African Presidents reaffirmed their commitment to deepening ties for the benefit of both nations and promoting sustainable economic growth and development.

Addressing regional and international issues

The phone call also touched on various regional and international issues of mutual interest, with both leaders exchanging views on recent developments.
