Al Naqbi told “Sharjah 24” that the event was held at the Khorfakkan Amphitheatre, with the race divided into five categories to accommodate various levels of ability. These included a 1-kilometre, 3-kilometre, 6-kilometre, and 8-kilometre race, as well as a special category for people with disability in a wheelchair race. Al Naqbi emphasised that the festival aimed to engage all segments of society and promote the spirit of healthy competition.
Al Naqbi stated that the top three winners in each category were awarded cash prizes totaling AED 54,000, adding that the initiative reflects the club's commitment to motivating participants and fostering a competitive atmosphere. He highlighted that the festival’s success was marked by its extensive participation and community engagement, positioning Khorfakkan as an active sports destination and underscoring the importance of sports as part of a healthy lifestyle for all members of society.
