Sharjah 24: Youssef Amiri, a cyclist from the national youth team, has reached an impressive milestone by securing seventh place in the International Cycling Union (UCI) rankings for track races.

The International Cycling Union (UCI) recently released the updated player rankings, with Youssef Amiri claiming the seventh spot globally. He ranks ahead of cyclists from Austria, Australia, and South Africa, underscoring his exceptional performance in international track races.

Achievements at the Asian Track Championship

Amiri’s rise in the rankings follows a successful performance at the Asian Track Championship in Malaysia. He won two gold medals in the individual pursuit race and a bronze in the elimination race. Additionally, in his first participation in the scratch race competition, he achieved a notable fifth place finish.
