Sharjah Marine Sports holds regular meeting at Xposure

This year, a total of 52 exciting events have been approved, offering a variety of races, festivals, and sports championships. These events cater to lovers of marine sports and are designed to ignite the passion of athletes and spectators alike. Highlights include the Khorfakkan Marine Festival, Formula 1 and 2 races, and the thrilling XCAT races, among many others. Additionally, our club will be participating in international exhibitions in cities like Berlin, London, Russia, China, and India. There will also be local competitions in sailing, rowing, and motor sports, along with community events and collaborations with universities to promote education and outreach.

After the meeting, the members of the Board of Directors took a tour of the exhibition halls. They explored different areas showcasing various displays and listened to a detailed explanation by Tariq Saeed Allay, the Director General of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau. He spoke about the importance of photography in capturing and remembering significant events and moments.

Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, the Chairman of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, shared his excitement about a recent meeting at Xposure. He emphasized how important it is to strengthen collaboration between sports and cultural organizations in Sharjah.

He stated that the organization is collaborating with cultural events like Xposure, which serves as a platform for showcasing photography and its significance in documenting key moments. This partnership illustrates the organization's commitment to supporting arts and culture alongside sports, contributing to the perception of Sharjah as a center of excellence across multiple fields.

Al Midfa shared that today’s meeting is a key step in our effort to promote marine sports and raise the club's profile in both regional and global arenas. The club aims to create partnerships and exchange ideas to help make Sharjah a leading destination for sports and cultural activities. Al Midfa president also praised the dedication of the board members and the general manager, emphasizing how teamwork is essential for achieving our objectives and serving the community effectively.
