Launching new vehicle plate numbers in Sharjah

Sharjah 24: Colonel Khalid Mohammed Al Kay, the head of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department at Sharjah Police, recently revealed that new vehicle number plates will be introduced to reflect the updated identity of Sharjah. Starting on Monday, March 3, 2025, customers will have the opportunity to exchange their old number plates for the new design.

Al Kay announced, “To align with the new image of Sharjah, we have introduced new vehicle license plates in the emirate.”

Al Kay shared with “Sharjah 24” that starting on Monday, March 3, 2025, customers will have the opportunity to exchange their old license plates for new ones. He emphasized that this change is part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the services offered to both citizens and residents in Sharjah. This initiative aligns with the new visual identity of the emirate, aimed at making things look better and more modern.
