Dibba Al Hisn and Al Kharous Councils discuss cooperation

Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn Council received a delegation from Al Kharous Suburb Council, in a meeting that brought together the two councils affiliated with the Sharjah Department of Suburbs Affairs (SDSA).

The meeting, which was held, on Tuesday, at the council headquarters, was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Salah Obaid Al Ghoul, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Council, and His Excellency Jumaa Abdullah Al Mughni, Chairman of Al Kharous Suburb Council, in the presence of all members of the two councils.

Exchanging experience

His Excellency Dr. Salah Obaid Al Ghoul welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing his happiness with the visit, which reflects the spirit of joint work between the councils affiliated with the Department of Suburbs Affairs, and stressed the importance of exchanging experiences and expertise that would enhance community services and meet the aspirations of the region's residents.

Al Ghoul also pointed to the role of the suburban councils in enhancing social cohesion and implementing initiatives that serve the local community.

His Excellency Jumaa Abdullah Al Mughni expressed his thanks for the warm welcome and hospitality, stressing that these meetings strengthen the bonds of cooperation and open new horizons for joint work, which contributes to developing services and achieving common community goals, stressing the importance of continuous coordination and exchanging ideas and experiences for the good of the residents of the two cities.

The meeting saw fruitful discussions on ways to enhance cooperation between the two councils, especially in community areas that serve the residents of Dibba Al Hisn and Al Kharous suburb.

Developing future programmes

Members of the two councils also reviewed the most prominent initiatives and activities that have been implemented, exchanging ideas on developing future programmes that enhance community participation and meet the needs of the residents.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides stressed the continuation of communication and permanent coordination in a way that contributes to achieving common goals and enhancing the role of councils in serving the community, looking forward to more fruitful meetings that reflect the spirit of cooperation and joint work between the suburban councils.
