Sharjah 24 – WAM: As part of the UAE’s ongoing humanitarian efforts to support families in Gaza, especially with the approach of Ramadan, 257 tonnes of food supplies have been sent to the region.

UAE’s commitment to humanitarian relief

This initiative was carried out under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah, and with the supervision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. It is a continuation of the UAE’s air bridge, which provides vital relief through Operation Chivalrous Knight 3.

Cooperation of humanitarian organisations

The aid was sent through the Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi Foundation for Humanitarian Works and the Fujairah Charity Association (FCA), with key figures such as Suhail Rashid Al Qadi, Director-General of the Foundation, and Youssef Rashid Al-Murshoudi, Director-General of the FCA, overseeing the process.

UAE’s strong humanitarian values

Saeed bin Mohammed Al Raqbani, Chairman of the FCA, emphasized that this initiative aligns with the UAE's leadership directives to provide essential aid to Palestinians during these difficult times, reflecting the nation’s humanitarian values and commitment to global crises.

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3: Delivering vital assistance

Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 is one of the UAE’s major humanitarian efforts, offering urgent food, medical, and shelter assistance to affected regions. The UAE remains dedicated to assisting those in need, demonstrating solidarity and cooperation through its charitable organisations.
