Sharjah 24: Expo Centre Sharjah took part in the British Educational Training and Technology Conference and Exhibition “BETT”, the world's leading EdTech event, held in London, UK.

Expo Sharjah’s delegation, which comprised Sultan Ahmed Al Bah, Assistant Director of Government Communication Department, and Gaurav Gadkari, Education Exhibitions Manager, engaged in discussions with key exhibitors and participants, underscoring the Centre’s pivotal role in advancing the education sector.

Showcasing the international education show

The delegation outlined the Centre’s portfolio of specialised exhibitions that contribute to the education technology sector’s growth by showcasing world-class educational opportunities offered by modern academic institutions at local, regional, and global levels. One of the outstanding annual events organized by Expo Sharjah is the International Education Show that brings together over 100 universities and educational and academic institutions from the UAE and all over the world.

In his remarks, Sultan Ahmed Al Bah said: “Our participation in BETT show was highly fruitful, as the Centre’s delegation had the opportunity to gain insight into the latest trends and innovations in education technology. We also discussed ways to leverage these advancements to further develop the educational exhibitions sector.”

“We held productive meetings with representatives of leading global educational institutions, where we introduced them to the educational events organised by Expo Sharjah, including the International Education Show and the UAE School and Nursery Show. These exhibitions experience steady growth, with exhibitor participation and turnout steadily increasing year after year,” he added.
