Mleiha Club marks “Isra and Miraj” with a lecture for players

Sharjah 24: Mleiha Sports Club organised a cultural lecture on the Isra and Miraj, targeting the club's players of different age groups and sports teams, as part of the activities of the club's Cultural and Community Service Committee.

Lessons and morals

The lecture, which was held, on Monday, in the club's outdoor playgrounds, was delivered by a specialist, discussing the lessons and morals learned from this great occasion, including the importance of prayer that was imposed on Muslims in the heavens during the Isra and Miraj journey.

Developing religious awareness

The lecture saw great interaction from the players, who expressed their gratitude for holding such events that contribute to developing their religious awareness and developing their cultural and human perceptions.

On this occasion, Mohammed Awad Al Ketbi, member of Mleiha Club's Board of Directors and Head of the Cultural and Community Service Committee, expressed the importance of commemorating religious occasions to enhance faith values among the youth.

Al Ketbi stressed that the club always seeks to consolidate religious concepts and moral values, in a way that supports building the integrated character of players, in line with its sporting, cultural and societal mission.

Importance of prayer

Al Ketbi added that the club's Cultural and Community Service Committee constantly organises various events and activities aimed at raising awareness among players and enhancing their role in society, explaining that the Isra and Miraj anniversary is an opportunity to emphasise the importance of prayer as a fundamental pillar of the Islamic religion, and to inspire generations with the values called for by this blessed occasion.
