Sharjah 24: Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, announced that the club has signed a memorandum of understanding with the American University of Sharjah. This partnership aims to promote collaboration in engineering, facilitating the exchange of expertise and specialized knowledge. It is part of both parties' efforts to enhance the technical and engineering skills of students, as well as to provide opportunities for hands-on training and joint projects in marine sports and related engineering fields.

Al Midfa further explained that this memorandum enables students to take part in all events and activities organized by the club throughout the year. This is particularly beneficial for events focused on marine environment preservation, as it encourages students to engage with issues related to protecting marine life and raising environmental awareness.

He expressed his delight at formalizing this partnership with AUS, recognizing it as one of the leading universities in the region. Al Midfa conveyed his hopes for success and excellence for all involved, highlighting the significance of collaborative efforts in strengthening academic and professional relationships.
