Three Emirati convoys reach Gaza with aid

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Three Emirati convoys crossed into the Gaza Strip this week, carrying essential humanitarian and medical aid as part of the UAE's ‘Operation Chivalrous Knight 3,’ supporting the Palestinian people.

Over 248.9 tonnes of aid delivered

The convoys, consisting of 35 trucks, delivered over 248.9 tonnes of aid, including more than 100 tonnes of medical supplies. This included dialysis machines, ultrasound devices, resuscitation sets, wheelchairs, respiratory masks, and a range of medications. Food supplies, shelter tents, and flour were also part of the aid shipment.

Total Emirati aid to Gaza exceeds 29,000 tonnes

With this latest delivery, the total number of aid convoys under Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 has reached 153, consisting of 2,391 trucks. The total Emirati aid delivered to Gaza has now surpassed 29,274 tonnes, significantly alleviating the hardships faced by the Gazan population, particularly vulnerable groups.

Fadel bin Arhama Al Shamsi, a representative for the operation, confirmed that several convoys carrying medical aid had been dispatched this week. He emphasized that the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained in the transportation and storage of medical supplies.
