Gas explosion in coal mine kills 4 miners in Pakistan

Sharjah 24 – WAM: A gas explosion caused a coal mine to collapse in Pakistan's Balochistan province, resulting in the deaths of at least four miners, authorities confirmed. Officials have initiated a search operation to rescue eight other workers still missing.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority reported that the trapped miners are located at a depth of around 4,300 feet, while the bodies of the deceased were recovered from a depth of 3,000 feet.
