Sharjah 24: Khuloud Salem Al Junaibi, Director of Corporate Events at Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq), announced the launch of the second edition of the "Jazz at the Island" festival at Al Noor Island on Friday.
Al Junaibi shared that the festival offers a blend of musical and cultural diversity, featuring performances over two days and live workshops where the public can explore the mechanics of jazz music.
She highlighted to “Sharjah 24” that Al Noor Island was chosen as the venue to complement the festival's music with the island's scenic beauty.
Students from the Sharjah Performing Arts Academy also participated, performing with the Sensation band. The festival will also feature workshops by the Mezzotono and Egyptian musician Rami Atallah, along with performances by Franco-Algerian singer Nesrine, Serbian singer Aleksandra Krstic, and Lebanese singer Tania Kassis.
