Union Fortress showcases capabilities of 'Guardians of the Union'

The Union Fortress underscores the UAE's leadership dedication to empowering its Armed Forces, prioritising personnel training, and equipping them with the most advanced and cutting-edge weapons globally.

These efforts have positioned the UAE Armed Forces among the world's most well-trained, professional, and well-equipped armies.

The military parade demonstrates the readiness of the Armed Forces units and their crucial role in advancing the nation's progress and prosperity while ensuring the security of everyone in the UAE. It also emphasises the pivotal role of Emirati women, with groups such as the Women's Rapid Intervention Team and the Presidential Guard female recruits participating in field operations, underlining their contributions to counter-terrorism efforts and national service.

The Union Fortress illustrates the expertise, readiness, and advanced capabilities of the Armed Forces through a variety of scenarios. Each edition features distinct operations that emphasise the close collaboration among different branches of the Armed Forces and security forces in addressing threats.

These include hostage rescue operations from hijacked ships, responding to an attack or ambush on a VIP convoy, countering assassination attempts, launching airstrikes on hostile targets, performing beach assaults involving amphibious and airborne deployments, carrying out evacuations of wounded personnel with air cover, and providing security measures for major events using robotic technology, AI, and drones, among other scenarios.

Under the theme "Pride and Loyalty, Pledge and Allegiance, Security and Prosperity", Union Fortress 10 will be held at Al Ain International Airport on Friday, 13th December.

The event will feature a joint military parade by various Armed Forces formations, showcasing their high readiness and precise coordination.
