Sharjah24: The Sharjah International Marine Sports Club has announced its participation in the 14th edition of the Katara Traditional Dhow Festival, taking place in the Qatari capital of Doha until December 7.
Sharjah International Marine Sports Club is participating in the 14th edition of the Katara Traditional Dhow Festival at the Cultural Village Foundation "Katara," which runs until December 7 in Doha.
His Excellency Ahmed Al-Hosni, General Manager of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, stated that participation in the festival is an opportunity to highlight and promote the rich maritime heritage of our country and showcase traditional skills and rare crafts. The Katara Traditional Dhow Festival is considered one of the prominent cultural events celebrating Gulf maritime heritage.
He added that the participation will feature a diverse collection of traditional dhows, as well as a variety of antique items related to maritime heritage.
