Sharjah 24 – Reuters: Barcelona returned to winning ways in LaLiga with a 5-1 victory over Mallorca, their first win in a month. Raphinha scored twice, leading the team to a dominant second-half performance.
Barcelona took the lead early, with Ferran Torres capitalizing on a defensive error in the 12th minute. Mallorca's Vedat Muriqi equalized just before halftime with a quick counter-attack.
In the second half, Raphinha put Barcelona back in front with a penalty in the 56th minute, following a foul on Lamine Yamal. Raphinha then extended the lead with a tap-in from a Yamal cross in the 74th minute. Late goals from substitutes Frenkie De Jong and Pau Victor sealed the 5-1 win.
Barcelona now top LaLiga with 37 points, four ahead of second-placed Real Madrid, who have two games in hand. Atlético Madrid sit third with 32 points.
