In a statement marking the 53rd Eid Al Etihad, His Highness Sheikh Humaid said, “On this occasion, we are pleased to extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for continued health, well-being, and happiness to President His Highness Sheikh
Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai; Their Highnesses the members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates; and the people of the UAE. We pray to Allah Almighty for enduring stability, progress, and prosperity for our homeland and its citizens.”
The Ruler of Ajman added, “The anniversary of Eid Al Etihad fills us with pride for a forward-looking nation that has outpaced many others in its progress and development. It reflects our commitment to achieving the highest levels of well-being for our people, guided by the visionary leadership of the UAE and the relentless determination of its citizens, who consistently overcome challenges.”
His Highness Sheikh Humaid noted that Eid Al Etihad is also a time to honour the establishment of the UAE by the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, the Founding Father, alongside the founding leaders. Their contributions laid the foundation for a modern state that has ensured a dignified life and the highest standards in health, education, security, and social development for all UAE citizens.
He remarked, “History will forever mark 2nd December as a transformative day that saw the birth of a pioneering federal model. Since its inception, our nation has advanced through strategic plans for growth and development. Thanks to the determination of its people and the vision of its leadership, the UAE has journeyed from the heart of the desert to the frontiers of space.”
His Highness Sheikh Humaid emphasised the unity of the UAE’s people under one flag, guided by wise leadership and a modern state that prioritises human development. “Our nation spares no effort or resource in ensuring the happiness and well-being of its people while enhancing their quality of life,” he said.
He stressed that Eid Al Etihad is a profound national occasion where Emiratis reaffirm their commitment to their nation’s unity, acknowledging it as a legacy passed down through generations. “Built by the founders and safeguarded by devoted citizens, we continue their path to keep the UAE’s flag flying high—a symbol of honour, loyalty, and human dignity.”
