Sharjah24: His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has ordered the release of 683 inmates serving their sentences at the Sharjah Correctional and Punitive Institution Department, who meet the criteria for pardon based on good conduct and behavior. This decision comes in celebration of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad.
On this occasion, Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, extended his highest expressions of gratitude and appreciation to His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, may God protect him, for his generous decree to pardon the inmates. This reflects His Highness's ongoing commitment to supporting family stability and enhancing its cohesion.
Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer noted that this generous gesture embodies His Highness's wise vision in instilling hope and bringing happiness and reassurance to the families of the inmates and their children, especially during this cherished national occasion.
