Sharjah24: Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler's Office in Khorfakkan on Saturday was present at the UAE’s 53rd Eid Al Etihad celebrations held in Kalba. The Sharjah Committee for National Day Celebrations, in partnership with the Kalba Municipal Council and Municipality, organised the event.
Obaid Saif Al Zaabi, Chairman of the Kalba Municipal Council, expressed sincere congratulations to the UAE leadership and citizens in celebration of the 53rd Eid Al Etihad.
In an interview with “Sharjah24” during the celebrations, Al Zaabi emphasised the attendance of Sheikh Saeed bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Khalid Jassim Al Midfa, Chairman of the Sharjah National Day Celebrations Committee, and Dr. Ahmed Saeed Al Mazrouei, Director of Kalba Municipality, along with a significant gathering of officials, representatives from government entities, and local residents.
The celebrations, taking place close to Kalba Lake, showcased a captivating operetta under the direction of Mubarak Mashi and penned by Hamid Faris, featuring performances from various artists, including the esteemed actor Habib Ghuloom.
Al Zaabi highlighted the important participation of multiple government agencies in the celebrations, which featured an exhibition accessible to visitors for three days. The exhibition presented a wide variety of products, workshops, artistic displays, heritage artefacts, traditional crafts, and various aspects of the UAE’s cultural legacy.
