Sharjah 24: The Board of Directors of Sharjah Holding recently convened to discuss the company’s 2024 agenda, reviewing its financial and operational performance, as well as key achievements and projects contributing to the company’s vision and enhancing the well-being of Sharjah’s residents.
Chaired by His Excellency Waleed Al Sayegh, Chairman of the Board, and Vice Chairman Ali Al Abdullah, the meeting was attended by board members including Khalid bin Butti, Sharif Suleiman, Saeed Al Suwaidi, Wassim Rabah, Waleed Al Hashemi (CEO), and Rana Matar (Secretary).
Al Sayegh commended the management team for their exceptional efforts throughout the year, emphasising their dedication to maintaining high standards of quality and excellence. He highlighted the importance of continuing to implement strategic projects that drive sustainable development and strengthen Sharjah Holding’s role in boosting the emirate's economy through innovative community-centered initiatives.
Waleed Al Hashemi expressed gratitude to the Board for their trust and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to realising the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. He stressed the company’s focus on community-driven projects aimed at improving quality of life and supporting the emirate’s broader goals of social welfare and comprehensive development.
The meeting also reviewed the company’s financial performance, including the successful development of the Matajer markets, which continue to grow year-on-year. Additionally, the Al Zahia residential project was highlighted as a significant achievement, offering a premium living experience and contributing to Sharjah’s position as a prime destination for both residents and visitors.
Sharjah Holding, a partnership between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management, was established in 2008 with a focus on real estate development that supports economic growth and provides high-quality living environments for the people of Sharjah.
