The lecture, which took place yesterday, is part of a supportive initiative under the "Memory of the Nation" programme for Parents' Councils. It was held at the Heritage Village Council in Dibba Al-Hisn, where the attendees actively engaged in discussions about the best practices in family-oriented positive education. The conversation centred around how to enhance the values and behaviours of Emirati citizens and their importance in raising a conscious generation, aware of their national responsibilities towards their country, family, and community.
The lecture addressed the significance of adhering to the Emirati national identity and how it aligns with the UAE's vision for supporting national strategies, representing loyalty and attachment to the homeland, especially in the face of global challenges that affect families in light of globalisation.
The session concluded with a summary on the role of the family in fostering positive citizenship values among its members and instilling Emirati principles to strengthen the national identity effectively within the community. The family, as the core unit, plays a pivotal role in promoting social cohesion, ensuring that individuals are more committed to their country, traditions, heritage, and authentic values.
