Sharjah Sports Club’s youth succeeded in ascending to the podium with merit after winning 4 coloured medals, including 3 gold medals in addition to a silver medal.
Sharjah Sports Club’s champions from the junior category were able to obtain the second place cup after winning 5 medals, including a gold medal, 2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals, whereas more than 150 players representing 8 clubs and centres in the UAE participated.
Engineer Suleiman Abdul Rahman Al Hajri, Board Member and Head of Individual Games, congratulated the team on the distinguished result they achieved, indicating that results reflect the work and plans set by the administration and the collective work of all the organisation from technical and administrative departments, congratulating the players who performed with determination.
Al Hajri explained that the outstanding results achieved by the individual games teams are the result of the Sharjah Sports Council’s plans and great interest in individual games, in addition to the support of the Board of Directors and the administration teamwork.
Al Hajri added that all these factors helped the club achieve outstanding results in recent years, and the club contributed greatly to providing the UAE’ national teams with the best players.
Al Hajiri confirmed that the club’s goal is to develop the players continuously and gain them experience in tournaments and competitions, so that they become fully prepared for international events to raise the UAE flag in all fora.
