His Excellency Dr. Ahmad Belhoul Al Falasi, Minister of Sports and Chairman of the UAE Space Agency, stated, “Our participation reflects the UAE’s commitment to enhancing its position as a global center for innovation in space and fostering international cooperation to support our vision for comprehensive development over the next fifty years.”
His Excellency Salem Butti Al Qubaisi, Director General of the UAE Space Agency, emphasized that the UAE Pavilion will serve as a platform to highlight the nation's significant achievements and ambitious future projects in space.
Adding to this, His Excellency Salem Humaid Al Marri, Director General of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, noted that the participation underscores the UAE’s dedication to innovation and international collaboration in space exploration.
The UAE Space Pavilion will feature a broad representation from various public and private sector entities, including the UAE Space Agency, Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre, and several leading technology firms like Madari Space Limited and Falcon Robotics.
Dr. Al Falasi will also engage in key meetings, including the 14th International Meeting of Ministers and Members of Parliament, where he will discuss the importance of sustainable space activities for international cooperation. He will deliver a keynote speech at the Artemis Accords meeting, focusing on principles that support peaceful space exploration.
The pavilion will provide insights into notable UAE space projects, including the Asteroid Belt Exploration Project and the upcoming Abu Dhabi Space Dialogue set for December 2024.
