Sharjah24: Tottenham Hotspur of England secured a 2-1 victory against their Hungarian hosts, Ferencváros, in the second round of the league stage of the UEFA Europa League.
Sar opened the scoring for Tottenham in the 23rd minute, before Bernan Johnson added the second goal in the 86th minute, while Barnabas Varga scored Ferencváros' lone goal in the 90th minute.

This marks Tottenham's fifth consecutive victory across competitions, with the London-based team maintaining a winning streak since their 0-1 loss to Arsenal in the Premier League last month.

Tottenham now sits at 6 points, holding a perfect record so far in third place, while Ferencváros remains without points in 31st place.

Lazio:

Lazio achieved a significant 4-1 victory against their French visitors, Nice, with Pedro Rodriguez scoring the first goal for the Italian team in the 20th minute, followed by Valentino Castellanos adding the second and third goals in the 35th and 53rd minutes respectively.

Matia Zacagnini sealed Lazio's win with a penalty goal in the 67th minute, while Nice's sole goal came from Jeremy Bogha in the 41st minute.

Ajax Amsterdam:

A 1-1 draw characterized the match between Ajax Amsterdam of the Netherlands and their Czech hosts, Slavia Prague.

Ajax took the lead through a penalty goal by Branko van den Boom in the 18th minute, while Slavia Prague equalized with a goal by Tomas Shoury in the 67th minute.

Manchester United:

Manchester United played with ten men from the 81st minute after their Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes received a second yellow card.

Manchester United now has 2 points in 21st place, while Porto secured their first point in the competition, placing them in 24th position.
