Sharjah24: Aisha Al Hussan Al Shamsi, Director of the Arab Heritage Centre of the SIH, General Coordinator of the Sharjah International Narrator Forum (SINF) has announced the introduction of the Living Human Treasures Card during the 24th edition of the forum. The new initiative has been launched to honour the cultural heritage representatives who preserve traditional knowledge to ensure its transmission to future generations. The forum serves as a venue for younger generations to connect with heritage supporters and address pertinent issues that matter to them.

Aisha Al Hussan Al Shamsi commended the active participation of the local community in coordinating the workshops and sessions of the forum, noting that more than 17 entities took part in this year's edition, in addition to a range of local and federal organisations. The forum will feature 37 workshops, each centred on the theme "Bird Tales."

In an interview with "Sharjah24" Al Hussan mentioned that the forum's scientific program will encompass 11 sessions spread over four days. These sessions will cover topics such as Mauritanian heritage and preservation efforts, as this year's guest of honor, along with discussions on bird heritage, the role of birds in Emirati folklore, Gulf heritage, and the representation of birds in Arab cultural traditions. These programs underscore the significance of this annual event, which fosters an exchange of heritage and storytelling across generations.
