Sharjah 24 – AFP: Bayern Munich maintained their perfect season start with a 6-1 victory over Holstein Kiel, taking the top spot in the Bundesliga. Jamal Musiala scored the third fastest goal in league history, putting Bayern ahead in just 15 seconds.
A mistake by Kiel captain Lewis Holtby allowed Harry Kane to double Bayern's lead seven minutes in. Musiala capitalized on another defensive error to provide an assist that Nicolai Remberg turned into an own goal, making it 3-0 within 13 minutes.
Kane netted his second before halftime, and Michael Olise added a fourth after the break. Despite Armin Gigovic’s header for Kiel, Kane completed his hat-trick with an injury-time penalty.
Bayern are now two points clear at the top and will focus on their Champions League opener against Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday.
