Sharjah 24 – BNA: Morocco has reported its first Mpox case in a man from Marrakech, according to the health ministry. The World Health Organisation recently declared the outbreak of this disease a public health emergency of international concern following the discovery of a new variant.
The ministry provided no further details about the case or the specific variant involved but confirmed that the patient's condition is stable and that none of his contacts have shown symptoms.
