Sharjah24: The Kalba Tigers have claimed victory in the "International 5-a-Side Football Club Championship," a highly anticipated event organised by Mini Football International 5×5 in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council. The event occurred at the Dubai World Trade Centre sports grounds from September 1 to 5, as part of the Dubai Sports Council's "Summer Sports" initiative, which showcases a range of sports activities and competitions.
The top positions in the tournament were awarded by a number of prominent figures. The Kalba Tigers emerged victorious in the final, securing the championship trophy with a 2-1 victory over the Iranian team Zhalkeh.
Karim Hamid from Khorfakkan Tigers emerged as the tournament's leading scorer, while his teammate Abdulaziz Al Blooshi was honored with the Best Goalkeeper award. In a noteworthy development, Mostafa Hassanzadeh from the Iranian team Zhalkeh received well-deserved recognition as the Best Player of the tournament.
