Experts share insights at IGCF on resilience and communication

Sharjah 24: Ambassador Marco Suazo, Head of the United Nations Teaching and Research Institute (UNITAR) New York Office, and Dr. David Lallemant, Associate Professor of Climate and Disaster Risk Modelling at Nanyang Technological University, are participating in the 13th International Government Communication Forum, organised by the Sharjah Government Media Bureau. The event, themed "Agile Governments, Innovative Communication," is held at Expo Centre Sharjah from September 14 to 15.
Returning for the second time, Ambassador Marcoa Suazo highlighted the forum's value, emphasising its role in capacity building for government officials. Suazo and his team will conduct training sessions for officials in Sharjah.
Attending for the first time, Dr. Lallemant found the event exciting and educational. He plans to share his insights on disaster risk and crisis communication, discussing resilience in agile governments and the critical role of media. He noted the unique aspect of the forum in uniting diverse perspectives on communication for building resilient governments.
