Sharjah 24: In line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, the Sharjah Education Academy (SEA) has declared the enrolment of 2,561 children into Sharjah nurseries for the 2024/2025 school year. Approved children numbered 1,979 this year, a 23% rise from the previous year.
The first phase featured the enrolment of 2,114 children who met the eligibility standards, ranging in age from three months to kindergarten. On Monday, September 30, 2024, following the completion of ongoing expansion work in existing nurseries and the introduction of new classrooms, the second phase will admit the remaining 447 accepted children.

Dr Muhadditha Al Hashimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), stated, "We extend our heartfelt gratitude to His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi for his constant attention to providing the highest levels of care for Sharjah's children and his commitment to ensuring that the staff who care for them meet the required educational standards. We also sincerely appreciate parents' trust in us and assure them that we are working relentlessly to accommodate any new applicants for the upcoming academic year. We will continue to work to provide a pleasant and inclusive educational environment for everyone in the Emirate of Sharjah, focusing on each child's well-being and educational needs.

The registration process in Sharjah nurseries is based on priority and specified criteria, with Sharjah Government employees' children receiving priority, followed by female employees from other departments, authorities, and institutions.

These efforts show Sharjah nurseries' dedication to early childhood care by offering an integrated educational environment that promotes cognitive, behavioural, and health development while also encouraging a culture of innovation and excellence.
