His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah attended the graduation ceremony for the bachelor's degree students from the medical and health sciences colleges at the University of Sharjah. The ceremony took place on Tuesday morning in the University City Hall, celebrating a total of 734 graduates.

Dr Al Nuaimi highlighted the special status of the medical and health sciences colleges since their establishment by the university's founder, His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah. He pointed out that today's celebration of this new cohort of graduates is a testament to their learning, training, and skill acquisition in the finest medical complexes in the region, equipped with the latest devices, equipment, and tools for scientific research and development, such as the University Hospital, the University Dental Hospital, and several distinguished research and medical centres for medical and health fields, including the Sharjah Institute for Medical Research.
Concluding his speech, Dr Al Nuaimi addressed the graduates, reminding them of all those who supported them throughout their academic journey and helped them reach this achievement. He stated, "Today we celebrate an achievement that is the fruit of immense efforts, with parents playing a significant role worthy of praise. On behalf of all of you, I extend our gratitude to your esteemed parents for their sacrifices and support, enabling you all to stand in this memorable position, filled with pride and honour."
Graduate Fatima Al Shehhi gave a speech on behalf of her fellow medical college graduates. She expressed her happiness and pride in graduating from this esteemed academic institution, established by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, which has become a source of ideas, innovation, and pride.
She added, "I congratulate myself and you on your graduation, and I congratulate the nation on you. Today, you are stepping into your roles in the journey of construction, growth, and sustainable development that our nation deserves from all of us."
Graduate Zeinab Al Mazmi delivered a speech on behalf of the College of Health Sciences graduates, saying, "I am pleased to stand before you with the pride of knowledge and the everlasting pride of my nation, and to speak as we together recall the journey of knowledge and learning within the halls of the University of Sharjah, a journey that was neither short nor the dream near nor the path easy."
Al Mazmi expressed gratitude and appreciation to the university, its teaching and administrative staff, and the students' parents, saying, "We express our gratitude and appreciation to the administration of the University of Sharjah for all its contributions to our success, as represented by our esteemed Chancellor, Dr Al Nuaimi. We also applaud and praise our excellent instructors for instilling in us a love of learning, a desire for study, and tenacity."
The President of the University of Sharjah graciously presented the graduating students with their diplomas, congratulating them on their achievements and wishing them success in their future endeavours.
In the presence of Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, the graduates of the medical and health programmes took an oath at the conclusion of the graduation ceremony, promising to carry out their responsibilities in these fields with honesty and integrity.
The total number of graduates holding bachelor's degrees from the medical and health sciences colleges was 734, including 135 from the College of Medicine, 104 from the College of Dentistry, 120 from the College of Pharmacy, and 375 from the College of Health Sciences.
