Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Camel Racing Club organised new races for young camels (1-year category) at Al Dhaid Camel Racing Track on Sunday morning, June 9. His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, was the patron.
The event included 24 races, comprising 8 races for Al Dhaid residents, 4 tough races for Al Dhaid residents, 10 open races, and 2 races without medical help for Al Dhaid locals, covering a distance of 1500 metres. The event attracted a considerable number of camel owners and enthusiasts.

Matar Ali bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, confirmed that the two- year-old category races at Al Dhaid this morning drew a large number of camel owners and trainers from across the UAE and Gulf Cooperation Council countries, adding excitement, thrill, and strength to the competition.
