Sharjah24: This Wednesday morning, Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, alongside Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, received the local emergency management team at the Rulers' Office.
During the meeting, the Crown Prince recognised the substantial efforts of the local emergency management team and its sub-teams, as well as local, federal, and private institutions and community volunteers. He praised their sacrifices and dedication to supporting affected people, particularly during extraordinary circumstances like the recent weather changes, which included tremendous rainfall.

The Crown Prince additionally commended the cooperation of local and federal governments in responding to emergencies and disasters in accordance with well-established strategies. He emphasised the importance of educated and dedicated human resources in promoting community awareness and offering support to those affected.

Furthermore, he emphasised the leadership's commitment to the community by providing critical needs such as shelter and basic supplies to affected families, wishing everyone prosperity and safety.

The Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah listened to the local team's explanations about their efforts, which included the implementation of remote work and study policies in government entities and private schools. This endeavour reduced financial losses and demonstrated the public's compliance with rules.

Senior authorities, including Sheikh Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Ruler's Office, Sheikh Majid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Head of the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs, and other government officials, attended the reception.
