Sharjah 24: Emirates Publishers Association (EPA) Executive Director Rashid Al Kous was delighted to be a part of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF). He praised the efforts of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, as well as his wife, Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs in the UAE, in supporting children and ensuring they have access to educational opportunities.

Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), has assured the support of Emirati publishers and their presence in such forums to highlight Emirati children's book productions, according to Al Kous, who added that the Sharjah Children’s Reading Festival is an integrated cultural system. 

In order to help prepare children's minds for the future, the association collaborates with a group of publishers to display their intellectual and literary products. The aim is for the children to return home with a rich cultural heritage as well as a diverse collection of books that take them on thrilling adventures.
