Sharjah 24: As part of its commitment to promoting heritage culture among younger generations, the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) took part in the 16th edition of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF 2025), held from April 23 to May 4 at Expo Centre Sharjah. The event, organised by the Sharjah Book Authority, was held under the theme "Dive into Books."

Showcasing 70+ heritage titles for children

The Institute showcased over 70 specialised titles focused on cultural heritage for children, aiming to connect young readers with their cultural roots in an accessible and engaging format.

Featured titles by Emirati and regional authors

Highlighted works included:

  • The Little Researcher by Aisha Obaid Ghabish
  • The Days of Hind by Ibrahim Sand
  • The Source of Generosity by Atiq Al Qubaisi
  • Al Nafnouf and Umm Al Subyan by Anwar Al Salami

Other notable titles were:

  • Juha and the Door: A Tale from Emirati Heritage by Dr Abdul Aziz Al Musallam
  • Animal Stories from Emirati Heritage by Fatima Ahmed Al Mughni
  • Folk Tales from the Gulf by Munira Abdullah Al Humaidi
