Sharjah24: Rasha Rizek, one of the most prominent voices in the world of anime and cartoons in the region, and the golden voice behind Spacetoon channel's most beloved theme songs, has captivated a generation with her memorable performances in classic Arab-dubbed cartoons like 'Remy,' 'Anastasia,' 'Detective Conan,' 'Pokémon,' and 'Al Qanas.' She will be a guest and performer during the 15th edition of the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival (SCRF 2024), taking place from May 1-12 at Expo Centre Sharjah.
The hosting of Rizek underscores SCRF's commitment to integrating all elements of culture—arts, literature, skills, and traditions—and presenting them to young visitors to enhance their overall knowledge and contribute to the development of a well-rounded personality that appreciates the arts and understands their value and importance in individual lives and societies.

The concert will take place in Hall 5 at the Expo Centre Sharjah on May 4. Tickets are divided into three categories: Gold, priced at AED 400, offering ticket holders a chance to meet and greet the artist; Silver at AED 250; and Bronze at AED 150. Those interested in attending the concert can purchase tickets at the Expo Centre Sharjah during the festival's morning period from 9 AM to 12:30 PM and the evening from 4:30 PM to 7 PM.

The artist is a fundamental figure in the memories of children across the Arab world. Her voice and name are associated with some of the most significant dramatic works aimed at successive generations of children who have memorised her songs, which are associated with virtues and morals.

SCRF, organised by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), is the region's largest event dedicated to nurturing young readers' imaginations. Now in its 15th edition, SCRF will host 190 guests from 25 countries to lead inspiring speeches, discussions, and workshops that enrich knowledge and instill skills in both the young and old alike.
