Bin Harmoul, in an interview with "Sharjah 24," said that a team was formed, consisting of the Sharjah Civil Defense Authority and Sharjah Police, which played a significant role in moving families to and from Al Suyouh Suburb Council, ensuring that they were provided with safe and appropriate places and then transported to hotels.
He confirmed that the crisis had been under control and that the water accumulated in front of the homes of the affected families was being removed. He emphasised that there were no casualties and mentioned that a special platform would be provided in the coming days to receive reports and evaluate the damages incurred.
Bin Harmoul expressed his gratitude to the residents of Al Suyouh, who were supportive and played a significant role since the beginning of the crisis by providing jet skis and boats to transport families. He also thanked the Sharjah Police General Command, headed by Major General Saif Al Zari Al Shamsi, who was on-site and handled the situation efficiently and professionally. He also thanked the Sharjah Civil Defense and the Sharjah Municipality, which worked together to reduce the water level. He expressed his appreciation to the Sharjah Social Services Department, which played a vital role in sheltering those affected. He also thanked the Armed Forces for their presence since the beginning and for evacuating people with all professionalism through the military equipment they provided.
