According to Engineer Ahmed Al Bass, Deputy Director of the Electricity Distribution Department, it is crucial that services are provided to all mosques in Sharjah after completing construction and connection procedures. This is being done under the direct guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Furthermore, Engineer Ahmed Al Bass emphasized that the delivery of services to mosques is carried out through continuous cooperation and coordination between the SEWA and the Department of Islamic Affairs. The aim is to provide the best services to the residents of Sharjah, develop work mechanisms and systems, and improve levels of awareness and guidance in the use of resources.
The 12 new mosques are situated in different areas of Sharjah, including Al Khan, New Khan 2, Al Ruqayba 7, Al Zubair, Al Falaj, Al Mawradah 2, Al Mawradah 5, Al Nahda, Al Waha/Juwaiza, and the Muwailih commercial area, as explained by Engineer Ahmed Al Bass.
Meanwhile, Engineer Yousef Mohammed Abdullah Al Hammadi, Acting Director of Kalba Administration, stated that the authority is committed to providing services in all regions of the emirate, and services were delivered to a new mosque in the Al Bardi area, coinciding with Ramadan.
In the city of Khorfakkan, Engineer Saud Abdul Aziz, Director of the Khorfakkan Administration at SEWA, noted that services have been delivered to two mosques. The first is the Mariah Coptic Mosque in the Al Madifi 4 area, and the other is the Thabet bin Al Dahdah Mosque in the Al Harray area.
He added that the delivery of electricity to the new mosques was carried out according to the best standards and specifications, thanks to the efforts of distinguished work teams from SEWA.
