Sharjah 24: As part of its Ramadan activities, the Sharjah Art Foundation is organising a series of free art workshops available to the public in the Eastern and Central regions. This unique initiative aims to enrich the cultural and artistic life during the blessed month of Ramadan.
Aisha Mohammed Al Qayedi, Director of Art Centres at the Sharjah Art Foundation, announced the launch of the "Ramadan Nights" programme. The programme offers a series of art workshops inspired by the spiritual essence of the holy month, designed to be accessible to all without exception. These workshops will be available at various art centres affiliated with the Foundation in the Eastern and Central regions.

Exclusively talking to “Sharjah 24”, Al Qayedi highlighted the workshops offered in the programme, which include the following: "Letter Writing Art" workshop at the Al Hamriyah Art Centre, "Sewing on Cardboard" workshop at the Al Dhaid Art Centre, as well as the "Textile Printing" workshop at the Al Madam Art Centre. "Paper Dolls" workshop at the Dibba Al Hisn Art Centre, "Handbag Weaving with Thread" workshop at the Kalba Art Centre, and "Creating a Woven Fabric Basket" workshop at the Khorfakkan Art Centre are also available at the event. Each workshop is designed to enhance the participants' handicraft and creative skills, providing a unique opportunity for learning and enjoying the Ramadan atmosphere.

The Director of Art Centres at the Sharjah Art Foundation expressed her delight at the launch of this programme, noting that "Ramadan Nights" provides an ideal opportunity for the public to explore their talents and develop their artistic skills in a supportive and motivating environment. The Foundation hopes that these workshops will contribute to enhancing awareness of the importance of art and culture as essential elements in the lives of individuals and communities.
