Shrjah24: The "Intaj" Center in the Sharjah Social Services Department is going to launch a new award called the "Craft Award." The award has been created to encourage centre members to participate in events, exhibitions, and programs and to continue producing their crafts. The goal of the award is to motivate the members to get an "Etimad" license from the Sharjah Economic Development Department, which offers a 50% discount on the license to the centre's 104 members.
The "Craft" award will be launched on Friday, 3/29, during the opening of the Ramadan Production Exhibition. The exhibition has been organized for nine years on the occasion of Ramadan and Eid Al Adha and will take place in Rahmania Mall and Suyoh Mall from 3/29/2024 until 4/3/2024, from 9 PM to 12 midnight.

The director of the production centre, Maryam Al Hammadi, said: "We launched the award to introduce the most significant number of families to this award, which has many benefits. We are constantly working to improve the conditions of families with limited incomes who are centre members. The award encourages them to continue production and participate in events held at the state level. The winners of the first three places will receive cash prizes."

To participate in the award, the criteria are that the participant must own their products, participate in 30 or more exhibitions annually, participate in 30 courses and workshops provided by the production centre, and offer six workshops to the public to transfer experiences between generations.

The Ramadan exhibition will showcase the products of the production center's members, who are beneficiaries of social security. They will display various packages of productive families' skills, including perfumes, food, handicrafts, fashion and accessories, and traditional crafts.

The exhibition includes special offers for purchasing the remaining products. If you buy AED400, you will receive a purchase voucher worth AED100.
