Catastrophic wars photographs mirror pain of victims at Xposure

Sharjah24: Deep from the horror of war, Afshin Ismaeli, war photographer whose life has been defined by his work bringing attention to the realities of conflict, took part at The International Photography Festival (Xposure) to showcase the horrific wars around the world and display their victims’ pain, suffering, lose and hopeless.
Afshin Ismaeli born in 1985 and grew up in Iraq, experiencing first-hand the devastating impact of war on individuals and communities. This early experience instilled in him a deep sense of empathy and a desire to shed light on the human toll of conflict through his work.

In an exclusive statement to Sharjah 24, Afshin Ismaeli, showcased at his stage a number of photographs that mirror catastrophic war in Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Palestine and Ukraine describing painful emotions that these countries suffer from. 

Afshin Ismaeli’s most photographs captured in the Afghanistan when Taleban took over the country leaving Afghani women, children, elderly and even youth suffer from pain and resulted in a dramatic increase in civilian casualties. 

Ismaeli offered recommendation for passionate photographers who desire to be a war photographer to feel the pain of people in the war and be part of them before trying to capture photographs.
